UNIT ROLES

18A SF Officer

The Special Forces operational detachment commander is responsible for everything that the detachment does or fails to do. He or she ensures their detachment is trained for combat anytime, anywhere and in any environment. The commander ensures that they and all of their detachment members are cross-trained on all assigned equipment and duties in case of injury or death to a detachment member during a mission.

180A SF Warrant Officer

Warrant officers in the ODA primarily serve as the assistant detachment commander and can also serve as the detachment commander (in the absence of a commander) or commander of specialized teams. They are experts at everything Special Operations and are trained in a variety of techniques and methods to teach & support both the Commander and the whole team.

18B Weapons Sergeant

Special Forces Weapons Sergeants are capable of operating and maintaining a wide variety of United States, allied and foreign weaponry. They utilize the made-to-be suppresive weapons of the detachments, as well as take responsibility for taking out enemy armor with specialized weaponry.

18C Engineer Sergeant

Special forces engineer sergeants are specialists across a wide range of disciplines, from demolitions and constructions of field fortifications to general field EOD taskings. They are also the pointmen of the team, leading the way and planning movement.

18D Medical Sergeant

Special forces medical sergeants are considered to be the finest first-response/trauma medical technicians in the world. See the video below for more information regarding it's role in the unit.

18E Communcations Sergeant

Special forces communications sergeants are the link between the ground forces, Air forces and the higher echelon. They coordinate air-strikes, air assaults and tactical actions between detachments.

Marksman Qualification

The Marksman is a Weapons SGT who utilizes the medium ranged weaponry at his disposal to assist his team. A Marksman excels in eliminating multiple enemy's with a deadly precision. It's role is furfilled by a Weapons SGT who passed the Marksman Qualification.

UAV Sensor Operator

The UAS Sensor Operator is the eyes in the sky for the ground units. Using the MQ-9 helps the teams deployed in the AO to maintain situational awareness at all times. You also help plan the best approach for a variety of objectives. As a member of the Company HQ (Havoc) you are required to do taskings for all of the unit!

18R Spec. Recce

The 18R Spec. Recce Operator is a MOS role that has a huge variety of deployment types,such as undercover operations, sniper overerwatch or naval recconaisance.The MOS is one  for the more hardcore-milsim players.The SR role, as spectaculair as it may sound, can be very stale at times. But do not forget that it's intelligence gathering capabilities are unmatched in comparison to the other toolsets used in the ODA.

153A Rotary Wing Aviator

The 153A Aviator are a vital support asset for the unit. They operate and command a variety of rotary aircraft During all types of conditions, weather & time frames. They performs all military aircraft operations (e.g., reconnaissance, security, gunnery, rescue, air assault, mine/flare delivery, internal/external load, and paradrop/rappelling operations). Aviators undergo a seperate training pipeline after finishing basic training.
